I felt like revisiting a title I read about 7 years ago, Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz. I ended up reading the whole series, with the newest being Crocodile Tears. Pretty good series about some teenage spy. I recommend.
Acid House was good. If you haven't read Filth by Irvene Welsch I definitely suggest it. I'm reading 1001 Arabian Nights and Fight Club. Next on the list is The Portrait of Dorian Grey and Mien Kampf.
EDIT: Also reading The Quran and The Code of Hammurabi.

I enjoyed Acid House. Welsh does great characters...Rented the movie today as well. Plan on watching it tomorrow.
I have Filth on my shelf. Read the first chapter when I bought it and thought it was pretty brutal...Currently reading Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts. Seems ok, but considering switching to Filth after above post...Probably won't though. I like to finish a book once I've started.

I would be interested to know how The Portrait Of Dorian Grey goes. Bought it a while back but haven't picked it up since.
Just finished the Gunslinger, and I'm not gonna lie...I was kind of let down. I heard a whole bunch of stuff about how incredible the series is, but it just felt like King was dragging things on with the intention of writing an uber long epic.
Currently reading The Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath by Lovecraft.
I'm a little over halfway through Stephen Kings new book Under the Dome. Its really intense so far. So far its featured rape, necrophilia, murder, bad cops, Oxycontin, a lot of meth, and suicide.
After this I plan on listening to an audio tape of 1984. I've never read it but I've heard its cool.
Great book, I only read it halfway because I wanted to savor it, lol. I know its weird but...Howard Roark is one of the coolest characters I've read about in awhile.
Currently a toss up between The Idiot by Dostoyevsky and The Sheltering Sky by Paul Bowles...Leaning toward The Sheltering Sky as it's quite a bit shorter.
Pretty good depiction of young rich california kids in the 80's just trying to figure it all out while doing a lot of drugs and having a lot of good sex.
Was entertaining at first, although half way through at the moment, and am getting rather tired, not his best.
It has some good stories in it, but it's not consistent throughout. I find it's the same way with most of his books. They're fun reads, but nothing spectacular.
Currently working my way through the last bit of The Boys by Garth Ennis. Next on the list is the full run of Transmetropolitan by Warren Ellis.
Tropic of cancer. Pretty boring IMO even though it was a pretty controversial book that was on the banned book list for many years. Kinda seems like a lame ripoff of down and out in Paris and London.
I'm in the middle of the Death Note Manga series. I'm getting around to reading the 7th book. It's sitting right next to me. I may read it tonight, or I may get too carried away with the novel I'm reading currently.
That said novel is "Kafka on the Shore" by Haruki Muakami. Very good book so far. I've read two of his others ("Dance, Dance, Dance", and "The Wind Up Bird Chronicle"), both of which I would recommend. I'd probably start with "The Wind Up Bird Chronicle" though. I hear if you get an older version of that one it's translated a bit better.
Currently re-reading The Dark Tower series by Stephen King.
I found the complete collection. I listened to first few chapters. It was pretty good. Currently I am finishing Jonathan Stroud books after that I will jump straight into it.
Comments
Now starting The Acid House by Irvine Welsh
Creepers - Dave Morrell (Hard going right now. Kinda got a bit unreal)
Love all the People/A Bill Hicks Story - Various contributors (just a pick up/put down book)
Going to start - Heaven and Hell by Aldous Huxley.
EDIT: Also reading The Quran and The Code of Hammurabi.

Ayn Rand is an idiot who shouldn't be taken seriously.

It's brilliant. George Orwell was a boss.
Was entertaining at first, although half way through at the moment, and am getting rather tired, not his best.
Just started it today. It's the latest completed edition; it should take a while to read, a fantastic book from everything I've heard about it.

I'm a comic nerd, what can I say?
Lots of good info in this one, shit you never hear in school or in the media.
One of my favorites.
Also, I'm reading the Book of Mormon...
It was amazing!
Listening now:
Jonathan Stroud - Heroes of the Valley
I'm almost done with #2, A Clash of Kings. Love it.

Just got done with Elantris, and will be reading Sanderson's other trilogy, Mistborn, when done with these.
