I agree with his point. However, the number of bikers out there who think that just because they're on a bike, they can ignore all the road rules ruin it for the rest, so I also agree with the cop trying to get the message out.
Yeah, I've heard bikers sometimes to pretty crazy things in the US. Ignoring red lights and right of way in the cities while there's traffic etc.
All people should just follow traffic regulations when reasonably possible to do so. It's much safer. And the police should be reasonable about ticketing too. Sadly, reason seems to have disappeared from this society.
