And if you could upgrade to V3 (although I don't know if it would make much difference) it may make your experience easier.

yeah i thought that was it but the softwre is telling me thats an invalid port

Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it

Yes, you must use TeamSpeak 3 client to connect to a TeamSpeak 3 server. It is not an upgrade, TeamSpeak 3 is a complete client.server rewrite. You can however run the TS2 and TS3 client side by side connected to different servers.

i already had v2

the v3 install gui and software gui i sway better the v2

hmmm v2 dosent have an uninstall.exe

The sound codex are much better in 3 as well.
