BedLiner Solution to Most of Your Problems

I didn't knew about BEDLINER until today, apparently it's a spray that is usually painted on the back of a pickup, it's scratch resistant and has other properties along with it. It's used to code surfaces to protect from rough handling and scratch. Now, the Mythbuster in their episode [MythBusters.S09E18] pretty much used Bedliner to test three cases, using BEDLINER to protect your car from a crash, dog bite and explosive impact. It pretty much worked on all accounts except for crash but it was exceptional when it comes to dog bits and explosive.

So, basically the idea here is to use this amazing tool and pack a jacket out of it or use it to create a safety plate. I mean it doesn't add more weight it's like Kevlar on the cheap, you just spray a piece of leather and make plates using it and have them placed on your vital parts, in case of a fight you will have a better chance to absorb high impact hits.

another use would be coat your work area or your room with it, it might be handy in case something goes wrong or if you're exposed to some blast, in the worst case scenario you might get some protection out of it, since it's pretty solid you won't have to fear about debris.

Now, obviously they're other uses for this material especially if you're into Night Ops. It's cheap, durable and there is a community supporting its use, the Mythbuster tested it and like others were surprised by it. It's an extremely handy thing to know about, in case of zombie attacks it can be used to make a temporary shield and protect yourself from bites and if that's not enough it can be painted on any surface.
