Cleaning up Windows on HP Laptops? Look no futher

I have an HP DV 6 7046Tx Laptop, it's fast and fucking hot and the main component that I want to change is; the Hard Disk. With 5200rpm they're painfully slow at booting and multitasking, not to mention they attract a lot of unwanted heat. So, this month I planned to fix one my major problems that literally hinders my productivity, imagine working in University and you have to wait for everything to load before you can open Winword and the system gets stuck.
To top it all off, HP crapware forces the Laptop to fire up for now good reason, when I say fire up I mean it's using some process for no apparently reason. The Processor turbos itself and that increases the process temp which down clocks it. This cycle is endless and it's annoying as fuck.
I did a diagnostic boot and it worked quite well.
With the new SSD I cannot clone my old Hard Disk, mostly it's encrypted by Truecrypt and it's not a good idea either way. So, I plan to disable TC protection and just make it a portable drive with TC added on top of it. Other that that, I plan to install Windows 7 from scratch, dump everything and install again, since it would be SSD things will be faster.
For anyone curious the SSD is Corsair Force GT 3 120GB, any higher capacity isn't going to help me on bit because it's expensive and I plan to use a portable drive for music and stuff anyway.

With the release of Windows 7 SP1, Microsoft has also updated the Windows 7 DVD media ISO image distributed by Digital River for online order fulfillment. Digital River is Microsoft’s partner for fulfillment on online distribution for downloadable Microsoft products.
The Windows 7 ISO images hosted on Digital River is genuine and official version, and the downloads from the server is legal. It’s after all one of the official channel where end-users who purchase a license (product key) for Windows 7 get the setup installation files.
Anyway, without a genuine and legally purchased product key, you can’t get Windows 7 activated, and Windows 7 will only run as evaluation copy for up to 30 days.
The latest version of Windows 7 DVD image available is of media refresh version, which commonly known as Windows 7 SP1-U (Media Refresh). Microsoft released the media refresh version of Windows 7 DVD media to fix a rare bug related to invalid computer name when small set of computer names returned error when used to install Windows 7. Otherwise, the Windows 7 with SP1 and Windows 7 with SP1-U (Media Refresh) is completely the same.
