Redo The Whole Site

I know its a lot of work and no one is going to want to do it, but I think in order to make ourselves different then all the shitty totse clones we should redo the whole site. Unlike all the clones that just upload the archive and start a forum so that people get shit tons of dead links etc. we need to save all the text files and remake all the pages... You understands what I'm trying to say?

    Paco incase you haven't noticed the place is called Totse for a reason, not Zoklet lol. Not knocking the idea itself but the whole point is to reconstruct what was lost and what Zoklet didn't feel was worth doing. Notice how the old saying on Zoklet was "This isn't Totse" and it wasn't but it wasn't anything special either. It took over a year to even get a mainpage up and another 6 months for some sort of content system to produce itself. This is a fantastic start and it worked for Totse for countless years.

    When people eventually type in "Totse" again or look for drugs, murder, lock picking, etc. they don't want to say "Hey Totse's back!" then click the link and be like "What the fuck is this shit?"

    Everything is looking spot on right now and I'm not attacking the staff over on the other site because I know maintaining order, progressing, and sustaining an online environment is more work than our bitching and moaning actually gives credit to.

    I also don't think anyone would want to be here if it wasn't for the fact a well formed staff took the time and effort to rebuild the Temple how we remembered it.

    Not needed...most things work, and this is called Totse for a reason.

    New textfiles and articles, however, are always needed.

    All I post on Zoklet is gay porn lol. That has been my cess pool of degeneracy for about a year now.

    Updateing the text files is not a bad idea, but the sites formate hould remain the same. Hell even adding a new bannenr once a bunch of files were added so people new to check them out would work, then take it down once the people started to notice.

    I don't think you understand what I meant. Notice how when you click on entertainment the whole site changes and there is random threads that dont actually exist here in hot topics. I mean we should redo this whole site to be exactly like totse. Integrate this forum's threads into hot topics, make all the links work. ETC.

    And dont try to tell me 90 percent of the links work, because they don't.

    Okay I see what you're saying. Haven't had time to browse the entire site thoroughly yet but there are some things that have to be implemented in time once the forum is stable and the rest of the links already in place. Server change is coming up so it wouldn't be wise to make too many fixes before then for stability issues since everything will have to be re-tested again after the move.

    I posted that bug in the Official Bug Thread. It's still the best totse clone to date.
