What should hot topics be?

We can have;
New Threads (what we currently have now)
New Posts
Recently Posted-in threads

'Hot Topics' should be 'hot' so recently replied threads would make the most sense.

A kind of random post/thread button would be nice if anybody wants to 'stumble upon' less hot threads

New posts would be the best imo. A new thread that gets no attention wouldnt really be a "hot topic". It needs to be threads that have some conversation going.

Right now it's new threads. Since we get like 10 threads a day it's useless IMO

I thought "hot topics" meant topics which currently had a lot of activity in, such as a thread with like 100 replies in, or whatever.
