I watched this movie last night, and I didn't think I was half as good as the first 2. I didn't like the story at all and the only thing that kept me watching the movie was wanting to find out what happend to Michael Corleone, which when I did find out what happend at the end.. it pissed me off

Anybody else like or not like Godfather III?

I have to admit to being one of the few people that didn't like any of them. I love gangster movies like goodfellas casino pulp fiction all of that but I found the godfather to be boring and way to long. I've never actually finished any of them because I was bored during the whole thing. Completely overrated movies imo.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first two. I agree that they're slow movies, and it's more about the characters and the plot, which are very well done. The third one deserved one watch through, but it was nothing special. I did enjoy Al Pacino's scream :o

Way too fucking long. Also boring. First one was ok, though. The others were wtf.

I'm a HUGE fan of the first two films.

The Godfather III was a fucking terrible movie. The actor playing Mary (Michael's daughter) was coppola's daugher and terrible in her role.

The entire movie she was lusting over her cousin.

It was full of cheap catchphrases and the plot was terribly boring...some shit about the Vatican and share prices.

In the first two movies the director refused to put in too much shockfactor violence (despite the pressure), in the third movie he caved in and turned into into a B rate action movie.

The third film had none of the contradictions and human qualities that the first two movies had, it was nothing more than a cookie-cut rubber stamped mockery.
