The Fall is the fourth album released from the group Gorillaz. The album was released Dec. 20th, 2010 on the Gorillaz website, gorillaz.com as a free download. The Fall was recorded mostly by Damon Albarn on his iPad, while touring North America for most of this past fall (Oct. 3 - Nov. 2 2010). Some sources say Albarn used about 20 different iPad apps to create 15 simple tracks.

I got really baked last night and listened to this album from beginning to end and I really enjoyed it (especially after I read that it was created with iPad apps). I'm listening to it again as I write this review and I really like Amarillo and it's slow, gloomy sound, at some points it sounds like something epic is about to happen. I also really liked Bobby in Phoenix, Revolving Doors, and Detroit. Most of the titles seem like the names of places or things that inspired him during the tour, which I think is kind of cool.

The album doesn't have as many collaborations as they usually do and there was a couple of songs I didn't really like and thought were boring. It's definitely not as good as Plastic Beach, but I enjoyed most of it, and it has a good sound.
