Any way to hack this welder?

Schematic is about 3/4 down the page. It only has 2 current settings which switch between input voltage. Any GOOD ideas to add more ability with this or any other settings?

It looks like the lo setting uses one winding of the transformer, while the high one uses both. There isn't much you can do there...

They do with a bridge rectifier and a smoothing cap.
