I was just thinking - how many sites are there out there which are actually like Totse?
I've seen a few similar forums rise and fall, but I'm really not sure what is left.
How active and well known are places like Bombshock and Rorta?

I don't think so... I remember trying to access it the other week. Forums were up, although I forgot my account details and I couldn't register another account.

Rorta is still a strong community in my eyes, I post there every now and then, about as often as I get on here to post. All and all though I'm mostly done with these kinds of sites.

I am not just saying because I want everyone to feel comfortable. I have been to these forums. I post and comment of reddit and if I say something remotely racist I get flooded with negative points which basically hides what I just said. I can't post guides on other forums because no one will read them and most of them just ban me.
But I am pretty great when it comes to surviving so I have a decent track record of not getting banned. I posted in kids forum and mindfucked them without getting banned.
The thing is we're unique which is great but it's also our greatest flaw.

When it comes to the Internet you need to have at least 2 years of uptime in order to get a good ranking. The other successful websites are older than Totse.info not totse.com. So, they have it pretty easy. What we need to do is focus on core components and then target certain avenues.
Like if you read my Target CoCo thread you will know what I am aiming at. I want Totse to be mainstream enough for new users to find this place but still the core user base should be smart enough that only real gems can really fit in. I want Totse to be discussed on twitter, facebook and any other social networking channels. In a world where people jump up and down about some wikileaks, I want people to actually discuss those things on Totse without feeling cornered.
In short, we're unique but we have a long way to go if we truly want to rule the Internet.
If we go down, I want to see us straight back up again with minimum loss.
