How is this even possible? Some people make me :facepalm: so hard, it's unbelievable. This is why you should always download from trusted sources, using a secure browser (something which ISN'T Internet Explorer), and not run strange looking exe files which have funny file sizes.

I later installed a copy of Windows XP which served me well for a year or two until I got this desktop.
They're not actually a threat, in case you didn't know. Depending on how you've configured your browser and how often you use the internet/run a scan, the number of tracking cookies can greatly vary.
I set my browser to clear cookies when I close it, and never to set third party cookies. Seems to do the trick of stopping any tracking cookies from coming through.
Because I know how to browse the internets.
I can't be assed with my firewall popping up everytime I want to do something.
How do you know this is true if you don't have AV software to scan and tell you that you are completely clean?
