Status Update April 2011

  • Added A hot topic Silder which uses Ajax
  • Proxy Detector Fixed
  • Auto Embed player support added. Users can post links and vidoes will automatically embed. [Check list]
  • Niggers theme was added, Currently it's being revised to match TRON.
  • Old inactive Mods were removed, Mod who didn't contribute and spent more time on Z and ignored Totse.info got de-modded to Demi-Mod status.
  • Editors who were Global mods were now reverted back to Editor status. They have access to all forums but will not be handling Forum infraction affairs. Instead they will be working on moving articles and managing the CMS. They can handle spam cases if required.
  • Currently there are three Editors. Trx100 is the Chief Editor, he add new users on the CMS. Thewanderer and Mayberry are Editors they publish and edit articles. Dfg and Hellish are CMS Admins. We manage everything else.
  • Currently we have two Global Mods, they handle the current mods and the forums. LSA and Bk. Both are trusted users and have been with us since the start.
  • We're doing a Mod Review, according to the current rules and guidelines will be removing mods and might be adding new ones.
  • DaGuru and Spectral were allowed back after being banned by me. Their accounts have been restored. DaGuru account was purged hence a new account was created.
  • New revisions will be implemented soon.
  • Community Newsletter Add-on is currently being worked on.
  • New Add-ons will be installed shortly in 24 hours.

CMS
  • Drupal was updated.
  • New add-ons were added.
  • Trx100 was provided to Cheif Editor status.
  • Commenting system was added.
  • New articles are being added.
  • Uploading support now available to editors.

Other Projects
  • Drupal 7 on hold, problem with theme and too many issues with the test system. Better to use the current version.
  • VB4: More features but we might lose the current theme. Still working on CSS.

    The active members are probably decreasing because there's been less emphasis on attracting member through the porn forums.
    All they did was spam the shit out of the place to try and access flesh design. :mad:

    That's a damn good list Dfg :D I love a good update, it helps us keep on track with things. I like the way the site is progressing. Can I suggest that you update your Daddy of all To-Do lists? I'd really like to see how we're doing where that is concerned.

    If you're talking about that statistic at the bottom of the forum, then it doesn't really matter. Of course the number is decreasing - does it look like we have 2000 active members on the boards? In reality, we have about 40. Those numbers don't mean anything man.

    I'd say we have 70-100 active users, and lately there's been a lot of old faces stopping by.

    Added a new bar at the top. It will serve as the hot topics bar. It used Ajax and doesn't rape the server that much.

    Looks neat. Can its height be reduced? That would be awesome.

    This will replace the Hot Topics on the left, right?

    Nope, We can remove it but both have different functions. The rest one actually shows new threads being created, the above one shows which thread got replied.

    I reduced the height from default. I will reduce it more once I find which thing is adding the extra padding.

    HT bar is now disabled on the OLD Layout but it's still available on other layouts.

    It's actually the padding. I am working on it and hopefully might find a way to make it more seamless.

    Doesn't the old layout have something on the right hand side of the screen, making the forum more central?
