Exploring an abandoned Warehouse [Picture heavy]

I've been ill as fuck today, but I knew Tordek Battlehammer was down as we meet up a lot. Anyone remember him? Well we went on a mission to explore a warehouse today. We have been there once before, but it was a nice day so fuck it - let's go again. Hopping in the car and a 15 minute+ drive, we were there.

The first thing we saw.

Looking in.

One of the things I got so paranoid about were Junkies or bored Teens. There was loads of new graffiti since last time and Junkie beds/camps do exist. Every little noise echoes around, and the wind blowing a fan or knocking some electrics freaked me out enough to keep a slingshot and iron bar close by...oh and my Canon DSLR. Derp.

Continuing to walk round to make sure it's all clear.

The fuck?!

These were like jelly with the heat today.

Fans that would spin in the wind.

Not sure what this is/was. Looks like tar and I tried prodding "&T" into it due to the heat making it supple, but you could barely see it :(

Friendly graff :)

Up a ladder and looking out. This was pretty chill. Couldn't relax though as I was convinced there were footsteps.

Yours truly.

I do have loads more pictures and may post some more. Hopefully this is enough to keep you lot amused :)

Looks like fun. Is this in a rural area? And you definitely to have to be careful of other people in abandoned warehouses. There was a warehouse in my area that was home to 80+ homeless people.

I don't recall them being pink. Yours?
And yeah it's somewhat Rural. Next to a motorway so could easily have been home to the homeless. There were loads of shoes scattered round, which is odd as there was never a pair. Always 1. Wish I took a photo now, but seeing a boot on the path, or a dolly shoe in the warehouse was a bit creepy...especially since they weren't there before.

Some places I don't do advertising as I have to cover my ass ;) however, there are some nice throw-ups my friends did there.
From what I can tell, it was a clothing distribution warehouse. I looked up the company name which is all over the place. The place where it is, you'd never think it was there. In the middle of nowhere, yet right next to a motorway. Odd place.

Also, the reason I wear Tropical DPMs is because it was pushing 30 degrees, Nick :o either that or hotpants. Your choice...

Great exploration, loved the pictures  Its amazing how many old buildings I've seen just sitting at the side of motorways on my travels around the place. There's plenty to explore, it's just a bitch to get to a lot of them due to the fact that you can't just stop on a motorway and there doesn't look like there are any side roads to take.

I need to do another Urban Exploration soon though, for sure. Take some pictures, post them here, etc. Good fun :)

It's crazy how quickly buildings decay once the roof has gone. It will have been gutted in stages by the owners, debtors and charvers as time has passed, but it still seems mental that only 6 years ago it was a functioning industrial site.

What really gets on my nerves is when people break into these places and then proceed to fuck everything up, break things, smash the walls to pieces etc. Why can't they just go in, take some pictures and get out, leaving things untouched?

It gets on mine too. You mentioned 28DL; I once browsed different visits and revists to a couple of sites I know/have done msyelf and found it depressing how they progressively got more graffiti'd and had all the remaining cool shit stolen from them. I'm doing a ROC bunker myself this week, will probably post it here if I remember to take any photos worth posting, but Im not expecting much more than an empty shell with a bit of chav scrawl on the walls.

If you get lucky, there might be some bed frames left inside :) Definitely take a few pictures anyway, even if it's empty

I really want to do this. There is an abandoned factory in my town. I might go check it out sometime. If I do I'll take a bunch of pictures and start a thread.

That sounds pretty awesome. Try and get some history on the place as well before you show us the pictures. A good backstory makes it all the more interesting :)
