OS X Lion coming out tomorrow!

Anyone else excited? They revamped Finder and added some iOS like gestures. They also claim to have added a shitton of stuff. It still seems a bit odd to have the iPad's iOS integrated with the desktop OS. I think it's fine to spice up the UI but they added this 'launchpad' thing which is pretty much the iPad's home screen.

It looks neat...I guess but there should be a line between iOS and OS X.



It seems Windows 8 is catching up on this fad which is quite dissapointing tbh. Everyone knows those AIO comps are shit. The calibration is shit, and so are the specs.

    Seriously, though. What the fuck is up with Apple making so much money? They've brainwashed the entire world into liking overpriced, pretty, closed-as-a-motherfucker software/hardware. I mean really, why would you ever want to use a spare battery with your laptop???

    My theory has always been that 90% of the massive crowd of fags browsing the Apple store don't actually buy anything, but maybe I'm wrong???

    Because people see brushed aluminum and go "oooh", or see them pull a fucking mac-book Air out of a manila envelope and say to themselves "That's really useful!".

    Man, I hate Apple products. They're overpriced, flashy bits of rubbish hardware with a stupid OS on them. Why pay all that money when you can download Linux for free, and build a better machine than the Apple for exactly the same price (or lower)?

    I'm not a fanboy but what makes Apple so successful is innovation and design. They were the first to release the tablet line up, and an appstore for their smartphone.

    Not to mention, they really polish up their stuff prior to release. They might have shitty specs but they've got a solid customer support free of charge for most things.

    I agree with Chupalo and Box actually, I hate Apple products to the core but I do realize that If someone wants to pay more money for fashion material thats up to them. And they are really innovative I must confess. Im pretty excited at the idea of Windows 8 actually, it looks awesome. :D

    If I am in an Apple shop, which is only because my gawping father jerks off to the iMacs (yet can't afford one. He's like Randy Marsh), is because I abuse the hell out of the iPhones. Nothing like browsing to porn/&T/text bombing people.

    Am I the only person left who appreciates a good old fashioned desktop environment? All those doo-dads seem to just get in the way and make everything look cluttered. Probably one of the only modern advancements I really appreciate are the icon-based taskbars(or docks). Other than that, it's just a waste of time for me. Same with the gestures.
