The Weather Underground

This is a 90 minute documentary on the activist group known as the weather underground in the 60's. I couldn't disagree more with a lot of their positions especially their ideas regarding race. I also despise how they represent much of what wen't wrong with the let wing since they were associated with the students or a democratic society which was a vile politically correct hippie organization that should have been crushed but I do respect their tactics and opposition to the imperialist war in Vietnam. Anyway it's an interesting documentary despite how much I hate what the 1960's stood for. Again do not take this as an endorsement of their ideology. They were correct one thing though. Violence is necessary and acceptable. anybody who believes real change can come from peaceful activism is an idiot.
