I'm having trouble downloading Alps from the android market. I click to download an app and I get the message "your app will be downloaded" but the download never goes past "starting download". My phone has 1.48gb of space left on it. My SD card has 14.83gb. I have tried wiping both, deleting all my emails and unneccessary apps and even wiped both my phone memory and my SD card but it still shoes 1.48gb and the market will not download. I really don't want to have to buy a new phone but I need certain apps I don't have for my new career. Can anyone help?

Remove and replace battery.
Make sure you enabled google chat(this is from the android website, and thus highly suspect)
Go to-settings-->applications-->android market-->uninstall updates. Apparently this restores some stuff to factory settings.
Too bad you need this stuff for your job, until the tech matures, there will be a lot of this shit.
