This was a pretty interesting skim through when it comes to looking at how the US Government deals with explosion scene forensice. Obviously knowing how they do it means you know how you do it. Catch me? Of course info is constantly updated, but it's a good starting point.
It's not really an "official" book as such, rather a publication of a report from the US Govt, but nevertheless, it's useful.
