LightWorks is a powerful yet Beta video editor that aims to make editing easier and fun (not really). The UI is pretty dandy and the colors don't really suck. It has almost all the features which you could but honestly I haven't really tested it yet. I am going to but I am just too much of an Adobe CS5.5 fan.
I am currently skimming the guide and downloading the program. It's around <45 MB in size and it's supposed to be lighter than most editors and less resource intensive.
