I dont know what is going to happen but for what ever reason this dosent seem right. Maybe my tinfoil hat is on to tight.

Basically the United States will be blacked out for 3 minuets.


The purpose of the test is to assess the reliability and effectiveness of the EAS as a mechanism to alert the public of emergencies. Although EAS Participants currently participate in state-level monthly tests and local-level weekly tests, there has never been a nationwide test of the system. The Commission, along with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, will use the results of this test to assess what

    Yeah that is odd. Possibly preparing for an "external" threat that takes out the Nationwide power grid etc?
    I wonder if there are any Survivalist forums out there discussing this? I'd be worried to say the least.
