in a fair bit of pain but a fellow old-school &T member helped me out herbally. But more on that later.The procedure took around an hour, they removed 12" of twisted gut and my appendix (you'll see where later) via keyhole. I woke up feeling like the room was spinning etc and had a goddamn catheter for 3 days.
I cannot tell you how much my dick still hurts! pissing with what an STD must feel like. It's like glass. Plus I have to keep giving myself blood-thinning injections (reluctantly) as I had one each evening at hospital.
Also waking up with morning glory once was just hell. I still remember the fucked up feeling in my dick.
So yeah, for those interested I had whilst in there -
- IV Morphine
- IV Ketamine
- IV Fentanyl
- IV and Oral Tramadol
- IV and oral Paracetamol
- IV and oral Diazepam
- Fentanyl patch
The Ketamine was fucking mental! I had to pull out after 30 odd minutes as it was just crazy. No actual hallucinations but it was like my head, inside, was hallucinating. Odd sensation and as my patience was running low at the time, I told them to take it out.
I didn't complain about the other drugs IV. They had to drag me off of the IV Fentanyl as it was the only thing that worked. After that it was a shitty Fentanyl patch, Valium, tramadol (they loved handing and squeezing that out - it was like their "go-to" drug) with paracetamol. Also I had 40mg Oramorph every 2 hours.
You can probably guess, it was barely enough as the agony was almost unbearable.
Also being stuck in hospital for 6 odd days is a great way to stop smoking.
Had a counselor there but I just wanted to get on with my books, audiobooks, music, films/tv shows and sleep. Let's say, my phone saved my life. I managed to post once on here with the crummy signal.
I had 2 mates come visit me whilst there. Tordek Battlehammer and a girl from my final year of Uni. Hot Romanian chick (well, tomboy really). Plus it was Tordek's birthday (old school &T user/contributer and Backyard Ballistics enthusiast). So that really cheered me up. Moreso than family, let's say.

pre-operation socks. Anti-clot shit (if anyone could explain why there is a higher chance of a clot after a major op that'd make my month if not, year. Please. I'm pissed off I have to wear these for fucking ages. Around a month after.
In total I had 4 cannulars and each had a double entry thingy, so was wired up to 8 drips at one time. One of which was the fentanyl

The end result, and yeah those are my pubes. Glad I trimmed before I went seeing as they even lubed/numbed up my bell-end, but yeah that's what I have right now
The best part of the day...urgh, seriously...
I got an eye test, but if I had those drops with mates I'd gurn my mouth off just for fun
So yeah, I could walk after 4 days post-operation (not post-op, not a tranny) but I can't believe they put numbing cream and lube into my pissin' japseye when I was asleep.
Still, as I couldn't get out of bed, it helped.
It's just that it...hurts afterwards :embarassed face:
I'm currently watching "Eastbound and Down". Laughing so hard at the first 2 episodes alone, it hurts.
Also I ate a bit in hospital but even with laxatives, it's still a no-show. So slightly blocked up from the 12 or so Fentanyl syringes (in the pics) got pumped into me...by..me
Oh and something to put a smile on everyone's face. My old &T mate brought me some proper medication! By far the nicest smoke I have had outside of Amsterdam. This stuff easily rivals their imports/homegrown. The grower is an artist.
The proper painkillers Tordek Battlehammer gave me. For free!

Went to get my bandages changed today and I just need the main slive covered. Also they are waterproof and last for ~5 days. Was given a spare and so that's all taken care of. Hard not to itch the other, keyhole incisions though.
As for hot nurses, there was one in the first ward (where the picture was taken. Kinda short, short blonde hair and glasses. Can't remember much as I was pretty doped up when I met her.
In the second ward (last 2 days) there were some amazingly fit ones! Especially a few Naval ones (as the Hospital is near a rather large Military base and they take shifts there for training).
Oh in the first one I had a young nurse, brown hair, take my pulse etc and I just kept having the urge to compliment her DFG LISTEN UP! so as she was getting up to go off I just blurted out "Your perfume is lush!" and after a quick blush and giggle, she walked off. Cracking arse, too. Really tight dress as she was a consultant.
But the second ward, despite seeing an old mans' balls and hearing another one shitting into a commode (small holding ward for those being discharged/moved ward) was awesome. Curvy Sweish blonde, Naval, general Nurses etc. T'was good times.
Just got baked and time to watch some old Simpsons episodes then play some vidya games/nap as I'm tired as shit. Will get back to the guides and story chapter as well today

I don't think he ended up taping anything to himself in the end. They'd have probably thought he was a nutjob and refused to go through with the operation, or something.
I recall the part about beers, which admittedly I had a few binges but the scarring and inflammation (mostly inflammation) is receding which is a good thing (I get regular ultrasounds from one of the few experts in the UK who specialises in Crohn's scans). But any more info will be gladly accepted (I have a memory like a sieve:() but you know I listen keenly to what you have to say.

Also looked at my welfare "income" and they had to backpay it to the time I first appealed (this year unfortunately) but I applied 8 times prior. Just this time I said I would gladly go to a Tribunal to face them and they caved in. Many crohn's patients don't get the help they need financially (my Parents have to take time off work to drive me to appointments, cost of prescriptions, for me - lack of work in the future/time off, basically my Nan is a carer but as she is my Mum's Mum, my Mum is also a carer almost full time)
So this was the result. I said to my working mates that if I get a decent amount I'll throw a taxpayers' party:
