A band I never heard by the name of Enter the Haggis is playing at venue called Skipper's Smokehouse near me on Sunday 18NOV12. Tickets are only $10 in advance and $15 at the gate. The venue bills them as Celtic Rock and here is a sample of their work.

    That sounds like reasonable value for fucking 10 bucks. :confused:

    I've been to the venue several times since I got down here. It's pretty unique. They have a restaurant and a regular bar but in a separate area the is outdoors but sort of undercover is a stage with concert style seating and another bar. You have to pay for your beer, liquor, or wine but with soft drinks if you keep your cup they give free refills all night long. We usually get a bit of buzz going before we arrive and just take a ping in with us. That way we get free refills on our mixer all night. Then we slipped out the parking lot real quick in between sets and smoke up.
