I know that chlorine can easily be made with a reaction between hydrochloric acid and potassium permanganate, and can be condensed with dry ice.
But if liquid chlorine is poured into a glass bottle and sealed, will the pressure burst the glass as it heats up?
I know the vapor pressure is around 6.3 atm at 20 c, is that safe to keep in a regular glass bottle?

Why would you need to keep it liquid? You should make this stuff as you use it. It's dangerous to have it stored and even worse pressurized.
In case I didnt have enough time to make the chlorine on the same day as using it.
