Copy songs from an iPhone/iTouch to a Computer

This is very much like trx100's iPod thread, but rather focusing on the iPhone and iTouch. Unlike an iPod, you can't browse for your songs via Windows Explorer and iTunes doesn't help in doing it either. So you'll need a third party app to do the song-transferring from your iPhone/iTouch to your PC or MAC.

First hook up your iPhone/iTouch to your PC or MAC and open up iTunes for recognition. iTunes should detect your device and let you know.

Now depending on your computer download the following software for your OS:

Windows XP/Vista/7

SharePod [freeware; opensource]
http://www.getsharepod.com/download/SharePod.zip

MAC OS X

Senuti
Official website: http://www.fadingred.com/senuti/

Download:
http://hotfile.com/dl/68425766/edc9d59/Senuti_1.1.8.MacOSX.Incl.Keymaker-CORE.zip.html

PC
After installing Sharepod, open it up.

It'll scan you iPhone/iTouch.

Then your device should pop up listing all your tracks and songs.

After that just click on B]BACKUP IPOD[/B and it'll transfer your playlists including Artist, Album, etc...data.

And you're DONE.

MAC OS X
After unzipping the file. Install Senuti and then click on the [Senuti] tab and go to [Registration]. Use CORE's keymaker to generate a serial and copy and paste it and register it.
