    Thats what I was wondering and there was not nearly the amount of blood that I think would be there

    I do believe that most of the head cavity is water. most of the blood probably soaked into the dirt,

    Not only that, but as soon as th brain was received that catastrophic injury it would have stopped sending signals to the heart and the heart would stop pumping.
