Today at work some guy comes up to my checkout lane which clearly states "Express Lane. 12 Items Or Fewer". he then asks me if 2 loafs of bread count as one item :facepalm:, I tell him no it doesn't. besides he had more than 12 items anyway so I send him to wait at another lane. he argues the point and leaves, next thing he is back throwing his shit on the counter and verbally abusing the fuck out of me, completely out of the blue. By this stage I was rather fucked off by his attitude toward me so I told basically to GTFO of the store before he was escorted out by security. The worst thing was is that he did this in front of his 2 young children, Really good parenting skills asshole.
People need to learn that being a cunt to people doesn't speed things up. If anything it makes you look like an ass and you don't get the service you want. Fuck I hate the public.

On the flipside, I love using the self service machines providing there's no one else there blocking the way. I try and get in and out in the smallest time possible, and I find that the thing which takes the most amount of time is when the machine prints a receipt
Or when people expect the self serve supervisor to scan their items for them. FFS it is a self serve lane you fuck, scan your own fucking stuff or go down a regular lane.
It was hard to hold back the urge to smack him over. Whats worse is that management just stand there watching like they couldn't give a fuck until you retaliate by telling the customer to go fuck themselves. They will do anything to keep a customer.

The worst part is when you get on the PA at closing time to say that the store is closing and yet they still take their sweet fucking time. One night we had to wait half an hour for some cunt to hurry up and GTFO. Just because I work at a supermarket doesn't mean I don't have study and a life to attend to you arrogant fuck. Finding a job around here is near impossible ATM. Nobody seems to be hiring, if they are they are looking for people with experience. Once I finish uni i'm gone from that place for sure.

I hate to break it to you but finding a job anywhere these days is quite difficult. As for the experience, you will probably have to take a few unpaid internships/apprenticeships in order to build up enough experience for a paid job.
It is only useless if you can't imagine a use for it.
