SWIM Needs Ideas On How To Make Spike Strips
SWIM lives at the end of a street and has a problem with a-holes tearing full speed towards an area where little kids play. Verbally asking these a-holes to slow-the-f-down has failed to stop the problem so now it's time to escalate the response.
What are some ideas on how to make spike strips?

Make a thick strip of duct tape about 5 ft long and 1/8 to 1/4 in thick. You can do this by wrapping the duct tape around itself multiple times. Next, stick nails of various lengths, and sizes every which way through the strip. Make sure the nails go in different directions and angles for it to work properly. Then just add a few drops of super glue where the nails meets the duct tape. You have now created a spike strip. You can throw it at cars on the freeway if you wanna kill them. Or attach it to fishing line and pull it in the oncoming path of a car late at night if your looking for a lesser criminal charge, (and most-likely convition)

You are an asshole. Of course you can Google just about anything. So why not just delete your account and Google anything you might find on here. The idea of totse is to share information so everyone can learn various things. The idea is to create content about topics that inform people so when they do search Google they are led to totse.info.
Also this is not Z*klet and inflammatory remarks are not part and parcel of every forum in the community. There is no place for that type of uncalled for behavior in the serious discussion forums in this community. if you wish to flame others the place for that is B&M or HB.
When a new user signs up at totse.info and comes into a serious discussion forum with a legitimate question if you have an answer provide it if you are so inclined. If you don't know the answer simply don't respond. But when a butt muffin like you flames a new user with a legitimate question it only makes a possible contributor reluctant to get involved with the community in a productive fashion.
So in the future if you want to act this way either keep in in B&M, HB. or take your sorry ass back to Z*klet where it appears you belong at this point.

You've got a choice of what you want to use for the base material. You can use basically anything you want, so long as it's good enough to hold a bunch of nails in. A thin bit of wood might work well - just remember that you want it to be as thin as possible so the driver doesn't see it as he drives along. You should also consider staining the wood the same color as the surface you're placing the spike strip on for that little extra bit of performance
Instead of a wooden base, you might be able to get away with using something thin and strong such as one of those shower-mats that you place in the bath to stop you from slipping over on the wet plastic. Stick a shit load of spikes in this, tie some fishing line to it so you can pull it into place and there ya go.
You could even just throw a bunch of tacks onto the road without the need for a spike strip. Give it a shot!
:facepalm: Tacks only go into the tire but either break off or stay inside the rubber and don't puncture through.
If proper precautions were taken, it'd eliminate any legal problems that might arise.
