Anyone on here familiar with uk slot machines? (fruit machines) i would like to discuss forcing jackpots and sharking.
i am interested in trying to make a nice sum over the course of three days in multiple pubs and arcades around my area.
Not sure when i will do this but i'll update if someone replies to the thread.
I've got a refill key and 2 old £25JP machines i "practice" on at work which i play for free.(i don't keep any winnings)
How much money will i need?
I have found to force a megastreak can take anywhere from £80-£200 with a return of £70-£150
If you're sharking someone and they lose.
i am convinced this has little effect on how it will play as most people i've found they "reset" the machine to it's average payout percent per spin.
Is sharking a numbers game?
A method of trying to beat a fruit machine is known as Forcing and is a way to play with the intention of taking the jackpot. When a player is forcing they don't collect any wins thus causing a streak which is when the game has taken in a lot of money and hasn't paid out so it is below its required payout percentage and the machine goes under their normal percentage of payout's and once a certain amount of money has been put in the game will pay out the top prize. Be warned though this can require you to sink alot of money into the fruit machine first which may mean you lose more than you win, but if you have been watching the machine and it has been being played on without paying out for a long period of time, that would indicate that it is a good time to try forcing the fruit machine.
in a local pool hall near me, there are four 250 jp's. i know the bar people well and they all shark them. one in particular a sorta manger (he in training) will wait five secounds if that before jumping on one. he tells me he easy makes around 300 to 400 a week without over doing it when he sharks people. i dont mind people who shark as long as they dont make it blinding obviuos that they are sharking me. normaly when i see sum1 is sharking me i collect the pot in little wins and on the way out say to my freind " i cant beileve i have just put that much in that " 8/10 times the guy not gunna fall for it but i just wish i got to see the other two.
i know the likely outcome of this venture which is why i posted here.
i'll actually contribute something ITT later.

As they all are.
Vegas casino/hotels dont give programmer conferences the same group discounts as other trade groups because people who understand there is code written in that machine that says it will keep %98 of what enters that machine (thus making your Ex negative %98) so they dont play them.
Sharking might add a slight edge to your Ex but its still gambling.
Actually that is not how the slots in Vegas work at all. There are state laws on how litte the return on a machine can be in Vegas. I can't recall of off the top of my head the exact minimum return percentage but it is somewhere around 87%. Meaning that you will lose at most 13 cents on every dollar wagered between now and the end of time. And please do not argue this with me I was a craps dealer in Vegas for 10 years and was friends with two many slot techs to even bother to piss with any disagreement on the topic of Nevada slots.
Of course a 13% edge for the house is huge considering that the pass line on a craps tub with double odds only has about a 1.44% edge for the house and American roulette is only around 5.46%.
