    Especially given the fact they asked stupid questions not even anything to do with the massive amounts of pedophilia and hacker attacks the site has accomplished.

    Sadly none of that would really have been relevant to the Sarah Palin case. The reasoning in the first questioning was to explain how 4chan works and show how they document shit. I don't think the lawyer really wanted to get more into 4chan than that. They basically wanted to get the admin to explain the mechanics and probably some slang they came across during their investigation of the Palin case.

    The cross examination seemed odd. They mentioned you don't know the ages of the posters (hinting that some are underage?) and that many users lurk (something to do with charging more people or showing more people participated?).
